The role is in charge of overseeing the Strategic Planning and Transformation Unit, while supporting strategic planning and project oversight processes controls, along with the oversight for the entire transformation program within the Company. Manage the day to day operations of the SPTU providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards. Development of the Company’s strategic planning calendar and ensure all relevant stages are accounted for, and reasonable milestones are set. Review departmental business plans to ensure alignment with the Company’s strategic goals, and objectives. Periodically monitor the performance and progress at the relevant departments in line with the approved strategy and annual business plan. Review project/ initiative feasibility studies and business cases, and ensure alignment with the Company’s strategic objectives . Monitor the progress of projects and prepare project progress reports, in line with inputs received from the relevant project initiator/ sponsor. Identify, assess, and evaluate project related risks, while setting risk mitigation plans for high-level project risks identified.
