Duties and Responsibilities
The employee will:
3.1. Abide by all related hospital wide policies and procedures, hospital by-laws and those specific to the department.
3.2. At all times, adhere to the confidentiality code of conduct, protecting patients’ right to privacy.
3.3. Participate in the on-call duties as required by the department.
3.4. Carry-out routine ultrasound room, equipment and department are kept clean and tidy at all times.
3.5. Ensure that the ultrasound room, equipment and department are kept clean and tidy at all times.
3.6. Follow the regulation of radiation protection strictly to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation hazards.
3.7. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current developments and new techniques and changes within the profession.
3.8. Report any equipment fault to Senior Radiographer with accurate details of malfunction.
3.9. Ensure that fire prevention regulations are observed at all times.
3.10. Participate in the Department’s Continuing Education Program.
3.1 1. Fulfill the requirement of the Saudi Council For Health Specialties with regard to continuing professional education.
3.12. Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.
