Job purpose:

Developing and maintaining engineering general requirements policies, processes, and standards and providing feedback on best practices accordingly for MENA involved team, specifying engineering targets, measures, and analyses, setting-up and specifying technical standards for the lifecycle of assets to meet the preset quality standards, in addition to overseeing and managing Process Improvement activities, tasks, and procedures.

Job responsibilities:

[       Supervising the implementation of the MENA Engineering function plans, as well as ensuring their compliance with Company’s rules and policies
[       Developing the MENA Engineering function’s work plan; assigning work activities, projects and programs, monitoring work flow, reviewing and evaluating work methods and procedures, and directing such activities to serve the Department’s goals and plans
[       Proposing plans and programs that boost the effectiveness of the Engineering function
[       Ensuring that MENA Engineering work activities are carried out achieving the pre-set performance goals, and suggesting any necessary actions to the direct supervisor
[       Developing and maintaining engineering general standards requirements, general terms and conditions, general design requirement and CAD listing and standards and providing feedback on best practices accordingly
[       Developing engineering policies, processes and standards to ensure cost effective maintenance of assets and proper compliance levels

[       Developing and managing risk management strategies.
[       Preparing and developing engineering flow diagrams of engineering components and practices
[       Specifying engineering targets, standards, measures, and analysis and displaying their records accordingly
[       Adopting metrology/ measurements best practices and ensuring their implementation across the Engineering function along with quality standards

[       Setting-up and specifying technical standards for the lifecycle of assets and to meet quality standards
[       Overseeing and managing Process Improvement activities, tasks, and procedures
[       Approving  the engineering standards for all systems including (Facilities, Equipment’s, Utilities ) and according to Good Engineering Practice (GEP)
[       Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
