HERSTEM Africa is a groundbreaking initiative under Young Females in STEM, YouthUp Global, designed to transform the narrative for young African females in STEM. This program champions innovation, breaks barriers, and builds a future where girls do not just participate in STEM, they lead.
We empower young women with the skills, opportunities, and confidence to become trailblazers in STEM. Through mentorship, hands-on training, and a community that amplifies their voices, HERSTEM Africa nurtures the next generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders. Success Stories
Girls in Cybersecurity Initiative In collaboration with the Fred Flames Foundation, awarded scholarships to 100 exceptional young women and provided specialized training for the participants, equipping them with cybersecurity skills and issued certifications. Many graduates have already begun showcasing their skills on the global stage.
