Purpose of position

The Facilities Team Leader is responsible to maintain the status of properties and assets to ensure efficient operation and prolonged life of properties; as well as maintaining the highest standards of security and safety for properties as well as the surrounding environment. He is also responsible to provide the best services to maintain the current tenant while ensuring that the expenses are reduced as much as possible.

  • Participate in the preparation of feasibility studies of the development of land and properties with the concerned departments in the company
  • Follow-up the implementation of the project implementation phase and participate in the selection of materials used through the relevant departments
  • Receive properties from the concerned departments of the company after the completion of the construction phase
  • Select the contractors, negotiate and contract with them and follow up on their work by checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies
  • Responsible for the technical operations and maintenance of the company’s and third parties’ properties
  • Follow-up the requests of tenants in different properties that fall within the scope of the dept. authority
  • Develop maintenance and operation plans for each property in which can be integrated with the company’s business plan
  • Develop estimated budgets for the expenses of properties in line with market studies, property status and maintenance plans
  • Provide solutions when there are deviations in the plans developed
  • Prepare financial reports for the expenses
  • Prepare specialized technical studies and provide suggestions to improve the properties status and raise the level of services provided
  • Supervise maintenance staff, and respond to daily work orders, and providing approvals for job completion.
  • Recommend opportunities for buying and selling properties and recommend improvements in the maintenance and/or facilities for achieving the greatest benefit to the company
  • Provide full technical and moral support for the management staff in order to achieve the highest levels of performance and develop their practical experience.
