Innovate Africa: YouthUp Global Collaborates With BizzTech in their Bizztalk Session to Discuss Innovate Africa Project

There is hope For the rising of Africa. Everywhere young people are discussing the African Project How we can develop our dearest continent,…………Mother Africa! For me, it provides hope and assurance that the days of sleeping and waiting for a magic is over. #African youths are beginning to ask very fundamental questions…that in itself is a progress. We at YouthUp Global also join millions of African youths to discuss the way forward for #Africa. How we must convert the burgeoning youth population to an opportunity rather than a curse. We have designed an African youth-focused #development project, tagged Innovate Africa Project. Tomorrow we are pleased to sit with an international tech platform BizzTech in their Bizztalk session to discuss this #InnovateAfrica Project. Join us tomorrow at exactly 3pm GMT+1 as we share highlights on this empowerment packed project. Our mandate is to join hands with other Africans to address the problem of youths #unemployment. InnovateAfrica: #TheAfricaWeWant Campaign Calls for Partnership as She Plans To Hold Her First Youth Capacity Building in Lagos, Nigeria

Charity begins at home…🙂 That’s why we are kicking off from #Nigeria to other parts of Africa. As we launch the Innovate Africa Project…..a capacity building program to address the issues of youth unemployment in Africa. Nigeria is second to Namibia with the highest unemployment rate at 33.3 percent in Africa. Here is the truth….In any nation where young people are not productively engaged…, there’s hardly peace and patriotism towards nation building, because #unemployment has chain reactions of negative vices. An idle mind,….is a devil’s workshop. Yes. We at YouthUp Global believe that once the problem of ,#youthunemployment is reduced to the barest minimum, patriotism and nation building spirit will be restored. That’s #TheAfricaWeWantNIGERIA A #Nigeria where youths are productively engaged with sustainable employment opportunities, empowerment projects and an business enabling environment for #startups, #artisans and likes. Good people, happy to announce that we will be gathering for two days in Lagos Nigeria on October 1st and 2nd to launch the #TheAfricaWeWantNIGERIA campaign with a Symposium and a capacity building workshop in line with the #InnovateAfrica mission. Registration portal is now openhttps://lnkd.in/dHtwMTD Sponsorship packages have also been updated. Partner with us to help achieve this vision… Info@youthupglobal.com     www.youthupglobal.com

InsightAfrica: Opportunities for youths in SierraLeone

In today’s #InsightAfrica, I share about opportunities for youths in #SierraLeone Sierra Leone is a #youth population, with eight out of ten people being under 35 years old. About 41 per cent are under the age of 15 and 62.5 per cent are under 25 years old. UNDP report. Agriculture is the largest employer with 80 percent of the population working in the sector though mostly at a subsistence level. Government concentration is more on mining as it’s believed to be an easy way of generating revenue…A distraction! The biggest challenge is youth unemployment. For instance, among the young population below 35 years, 70% are #underemployed or #unemployed and 50% illiterate and unskilled. This has resulted to many young people holding on to agriculture (subsistence farming) as a means of survival. But here is the opportunity…. The youths are not just waiting for the government anymore, out of nothing, they are surviving….How much more when they are supported. Many at times that I spoke with Sierra Leone country lead Alfred Koroma for YouthUp Global, he shared insights as to opportunities in anyone willing to invest in #Agriculture in Sierra Leone. Alfred is a player in the agric sector, he’s the founder of Alpha Group. He’s constantly on the road to rural communities to organize communal farming activities to help empower the youths. We have been in discussion with the likes Rainer Tögel a seasoned agriculturist. His interest to support the continent of #Africa is immeasurable. There are discussions going on. We need more people to invest in African youths., Agriculture and #Education need to meet in Sierra Leone… If you want to discuss, I am a chat away. Info@youthupglobal.com     www.youthupglobal.com

If you follow my series here,… You should have seen here that…. African youths will develop Africa. At YouthUp Global, we believe in uplifting one another into greatness. YouthUp Global Collaborates with Craftsmen to facilitate Partnership deals in Africa and International Community

African Trade… Trade is either, local, intra or inter. To achieve maximum economic prosperity using trade, requires a balance between the three kinds of trade. However in #Africa we have depended so much on International trade. Though what we sell is primarily raw materials to other continents….a narrative that is changing with technological disruptions Generally, less attention has been given to Intra-African trade. Until recently the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement was signed with operations starting this year January. The reason for #AfCFTA is to Accelerate intra-African trade and boosting Africa’s trading position in the global market by strengthening Africa’s common voice and policy space in global trade negotiations. Question is what are African countries doing to support this free #trade agreement? In #Nigeria, there is so much we can offer to the rest of Africa and in extension the entire world … For instance, there is a market in Eastern Nigeria called #Ariaria International Market. Notable for local productions of African fabrics, shoes, bags, wears etc With a capacity to supply to the entire African Continent with the right support. At Youth Up we are beginning to collaborate with these Craftsmen to facilitate partnership deals with interested parties both in Africa and international to open a trade deal to allow for exportation of these products. Made in #Aba is not substandard, it’s about the specification you request. Our people produce by even American Spec.
