The main purpose of the Electrical Design Engineer job is:
- Designing and laying out new electrical systems according to customer specifications and applicable international standards.
- Prepare technical submittals and approvals
- Creating system models and simulations
- Testing new systems and making design changes if needed
- Producing necessary design reports and documentation
- Assisting in the manufacture of new electrical systems
- Checking and updating of the bill of materials
- Follows all applicable procedures and work instructions
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his direct manager
