• Identify, measure, manage and report risks.
• Help develop processes to better evaluate business-specific risk.
• Monitor important as well as critical risk issues.
• Conduct risk and compliance assessments.
• Explain the external risk posed by corporate governance to stakeholders.
• Create business continuity plans to limit risks.
• Audit processes and procedures.
• Develop risk management controls and systems.
• Design processes to eliminate or mitigate potential risks.
• Develop information security training, education, and awareness program
