Spa Therapist – KUN International Sports.

Role purpose

Perform all body & facial services (facials, wraps, scrubs, etc.) in a safe and professional manner to Guests. To operate and work in accordance with standards prescribed in the Spa Manual.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

• To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag and follow good hygiene habits at all time. Make- up is a requirement for female therapists & hair up as per the standard.

• Advise guests of spa service programs, treatments and products available at the spa.

• Assist in promoting spa & body care products to guests and offer full product knowledge. This is part of the treatment standards to recommend products.

• Ensure all treatment rooms are fully set up before beginning a treatment according to standards and procedures. Request, collect stock & supplies in accordance with minimum stock levels.

• Assist in keeping accurate written records of treatments and products used in view of repeat guests.

• Participate in on-going training, with assistance from your designated trainer and continue to improve your skill..

• Constantly maintain up-to-date knowledge of the personal services performed and any revisions in the skin care products or procedures used.

• Review appointments after completing each service and shift

• Assist in the co-ordination of spa treatments with other spa programs.

• Serve as catalyst to promote spa services to Members and outside Guests.

• Ensure individual is well versed in all aspects of the spa’s operations, i.e. business telephone usage, guest relations, retail sales, and spa services.

• Assist in the day-to-day spa operations as required. Ensure that treatment rooms are monitored daily for cleanliness and report to engineering any broken or damaged equipment.

• Ensure cross training of all associates in all areas of the spa

• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned – e.g. reception, wet areas.
